Provision of Training and Design Workshops
As engineering is a diverse and constantly evolving discipline, success requires personnel remaining up dated with industry developments. Industry relies on staff being skilled and creative with an understanding of technical and regulatory issues and an understanding of business priorities. Therefore, it is imperative that stakeholders undertake regular quality, informative training in order to keep abreast of new or amended design and regulatory standards in order to provide the best service to clients.
Young graduates or practitioners with a vast wealth of experience can all improve their skills. It is employees who receive regular training that are generally more motivated and have greater job satisfaction. This invariably leads to higher levels of staff retention whilst ultimately lowering the cost of new recruitment and it is widely acknowledged that businesses that invest in training generally have higher profits than those that ignore staff training needs.
In the field of sustainable drainage and contaminated land remediation EPG are internationally recognised trainers. We also work closely with partnering organisations such as CIRIA and the EA to provide comprehensive training workshops to introduce practitioners to new design methods and to disseminate best practice to general stakeholders in the design process. Similarly, EPG has extensive expertise in the delivery of bespoke in-house training courses to design consultants, manufacturers and technical sales organisations.
